Solar PV and battery storage – what you need to know?
GL and Eco2Solar have teamed up to give an insight and answer questions surrounding the proposed FHS solar requirements and the challenges and solutions developers are facing.
The webinar will discuss the requirement of solar PV panels on new homes, the various battery storage system solutions and more importantly where to locate them, as well as the benefits to developers, contractors, and homeowners of specification.
The webinar will feature:
Claire is responsible for the Design, Electrical and Compliance teams who collectively support housing developers in meeting their sustainability targets through design, planning and innovative technology. She has a degree in Geography & Environmental Management and has worked in the Solar industry since 2010 through both Project Management and Design roles, specialising in small scale and residential solar PV systems. Claire is an active member of the MCS and Solar Energy UK working groups which continuously work to improve the Solar industry standards and working practices.
Callum has over a decade of experience working with innovate products for newbuild housing market. As a technical expert with vast knowledge and experience of product legislation and building regulations, he continues to share his knowledge with all levels of the industry regarding solar, battery storage and EV chargers. As well as supporting GL’s clients with technical advice, including site planning and building design, Callum provides regular support and training on their full range of products. You will regularly find Callum at a technical or solar conference nationwide, either on an exhibition stand or simply keeping up to date with the latest innovations.
