What will I learn about?

Since the publication of the Future Homes Standard (FHS) consultation in December 2023, developers have been working to identify likely specifications that will enable their house types to achieve Part L (operational carbon) requirements cost effectively and to be delivered at scale.

But what about embodied carbon?

This session begins the conversation about what fabric strategies developers are considering, how much difference that makes to the embodied carbon and what we can do as a sector to stay on a net zero trajectory for whole life carbon.

As an attendee, you will learn about the work underpinning the Hub’s forthcoming report – available soon here – and how you can take the same principles and apply them to consider embodied and whole life carbon for your own designs.
